About Us
Mission
EUPAIDEIA’s mission is to drive social change towards the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through the provision of tools and innovative, transdisciplinary education opportunities to various target groups, in order to equip them with the necessary 21st century skills.
Vision
“Paideia” in ancient Greece referred to the concept and practice of the holistic, transversal education that an ideal member of society should have. This individual would be a well-rounded, refined in intellect active citizen, with knowledge and skills that ranged from humanities to scientific disciplines and from arts and culture to conducting a healthy lifestyle.
The timeless notion of “paideia” is more relevant than ever in the 21st century. Complex global challenges such as the climate crisis, socioeconomic fluidity, increasing inequalities and the rapid digital transformation have arisen. Those challenges can only be addressed through a holistic, interdisciplinary educational approach to equip all with the multifaceted set of competences necessary for increasing resilience, inclusion and active participation.
EUPAIDEIA envisions and strives for a world with embedded sustainability principles, elimination of discrimination, increased social inclusion and participation and utmost respect for both human rights and the environment.

Sustainable Development
We strive to promote and embed sustainability in all its aspects in different levels and sectors through tailored educational offers. The team is specifically working on the topic of sustainable tourism.
Soft and Transversal Skills
We focus on the development of the horizontal soft and transversal skills that are necessary for building resilience, increase employability and social inclusion.
Arts in Education
The integration of arts’ practices in the teaching/learning process is proven to have various benefits for both the learners and educators. Our team is highly experienced in the use of arts in education.
Youth Empowerment & Civic Engagement
Through collaborative educational and awareness raising activities we strive to increase civic engagement and create agents of social change in the local communities.

Our team is highly experienced in the development of online learning solutions through the use if specific digital tools and learning management systems.
Social Inclusion & Human Rights
The main drive of our activities is the respect and protection of human rights in all contexts and the fostering of social inclusion of people at risk of marginalisation or discrimination
What we do
We seek to create synergies with a range of stakeholders at the local, national and European level in order to design and offer tailored educational opportunities to various target groups, as well as to organise awareness raising activities.
The aim of these innovative educational offers is to promote sustainability principles at different levels and sectors. The followed approach is based on interdisciplinarity and lifelong learning principles as well as collaborative and experiential learning.
SMART - Digital Sustainable Tourism
The SMART project aims at supporting organisational capacity building, resilience, and safe experiences for the sustainable tourism industry through the use of digital tools and the promotion of digital skills, interconnectivity, and interoperability.
SUSTOUR-MED
Sustainable Tourism Training targeted at SMEs, professionals and VET students based in the Mediterranean region.

A strategic partnership aimed at bettering the use that youth make of their smartphone oriented towards the protection of our environment
